Free Estimates

Before we begin anything, we like to come out and take a look at your project needs. This includes determining the project time and material and labor costs. For an exterior job, we take note of the height of the home and if there is any peeling or flaking paint. We then take that information and put together a reasonable quote that will allow us enough time to do a quality job. Additionally, the estimate will include a list of references, proof of insurance and materials that we will be using.

Materials

If you want a job to look professional, then you need to spend the money and buy the best paints. We only use professional paint products from the biggest names in the business. This extra cost translates to your home and not only brings out the colors even more, but last longer and provides a more durable finish.

Prep Work

Prep work is essential in this business and we take it very seriously. 
First we remove any outlet, vents or fixtures to ensure that they are stored away safely and will not get paint on them. Second, we tarp everything off with either plastics or drop cloths. Finally, we use tape to cover the baseboard trim and prevent spatter when rolling. After all this is done, we begin patching any holes that are in the walls and caulking any gaps in the trim. Once that is completed, we then go over that with a high quality primer. In addition, any priming or sanding of surfaces is done during this step.

Painting

Once all the prep work is handled, we can start applying the topcoat to your surfaces. Unless it is an exact color match, we will apply two coats to your surfaces. If it calls for more, then that's what we will do. For example, if you wanted white over black, we will do as many coats as necessary until we get it white. But in most cases, 2 coats will do. Two coats of paint ensures that you will have an even coloration on the walls with no thin areas. In addition, the work will be more durable for scrubbing and washing.

Cleanup

When it comes time to wrap everything up, we will take extra steps to ensure that your home or property is impeccable with no trace of us ever being there. This includes vacuuming, sweeping, dusting and even cleaning windows if necessary.
